The Ideal Hypnosis Client by Office Manager Gerri How you can succeed with hypnosis I have worked with Greg States since the beginning of his career. For over thirty years I have enjoyed talking with people about hypnosis. It's great when I discover someone is a natural--the ideal hypnosis client--but more often it takes a measure of guidance to ready them for a great hypnosis experience. Here's how you can succeed with hypnosis.

______ ______ ______
Being prepared sets up realistic expectations and will greatly enhance your ability to reach your goal.

BE WILLING
If the answer is yes, then do yourself a favor, make a decision from the outset to follow Greg's guidance through the process. That's all it takes. If you follow his instructions the first time, then you'll notice how easy it becomes to be hypnotized the second and third time.
As long as you can follow instructions, you can experience trance. Compliance is easy. It really is. Read the next sentence. See what just happened? I gave an instruction and you followed it
(you read "Read the next sentence" and followed through by reading it). You didn't even have to think about it. You just did it. You read it because you wanted to read it.
The same thing applies with hypnosis. If you want to be hypnotized you don't even have to think about it, just do what Greg says. Greg can help you experience hypnosis more fully. He's very successful at it. However, Greg can't force you to accept a suggestion.
Only you can decide you will follow suggestions. Only you can decide you want a suggestion to work. When you decide to follow a suggestion, you're allowing the hypnosis to work effectively. Follow Greg's instructions and you'll experience a fulfilling trance.
DESIRE WHAT YOU WISH FOR
People often say, "I have to quit smoking" or "I've just got to lose this weight." Both statements imply need imposed by external requirements rather than by inner desire. 'Need' has has little to do with desire, while 'want' is where desire blooms. It's the passion from within.
If you have a desire--really want something--then you're on your way to getting what you want. If someone is urging you to change, and you're not ready to change, wait until you are ready before coming in to see Greg.
MAKE IT PERSONAL
Your number one reason should be self-directed. I love hearing people say, "I'm fed up with this habit" or "I'm ready for a change in life." These are strong, self-motivated declarations that will carry you to success.
THINK ABOUT IT
Mental preparation is also very important. I define mental preparation as giving thought to what changes will take place once you've implemented a decision. Here are some things to consider.
How do you think hypnosis is going to help you accomplish your goal as compared to doing it on your own without Greg's help?
Are your expectations reasonable?
What are you prepared to do to see your goal realized? Practicing self-hypnosis should be part of the process.
It requires as little as 3 minutes a day.
IMAGINE YOURSELF BETTER
How does that look and feel to you? If you can imagine what is possible then change will happen more quickly. Look forward to being creative.
Hypnosis is wonderful for tapping into the creative part of your mind.
It's really that simple. Possessing these attributes makes you the ideal hypnosis client. Proceed positively.
Read About Your Hypnosis before coming in for your first visit. Being prepared sets up realistic expectations and will greatly enhance your ability to reach your goal.
